AFCAT recruitment 2017 – apply as soon as you can

Good opportunity for those candidates who are dreaming of working in the Air Force of India. Air Force of India has recently released a notification regarding the recruitment of various posts. These posts are Commissioned service for Short Service Commission (SSC) in flying commission, in ground duty(Technical branch) and ground duty (non Technical branch). These posts will be filled up based on the AFCAT examination. The candidates are asked to apply soon. The application dates will run from 16 December to 18 January.

Educational Qualification of the candidate: The student should have got a minimum of 60% marks in each of the subjects in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level, He or she should have done Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or BE/B Tech from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent, should have Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks for Flying branches, PG Degree in any science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (provided Maths & Physics were studied at Graduation level with minimum of 55% marks in both) for Ground Duty (Meteorology branch).

Age Limit of the candidate: The Candidate should fall between the ages of 20-24 years for Flying branch, 20-26 years for Ground Duty (Technical/ Non Technical) as on 01-01-2019.

Selection Process of the candidates: The Candidate will be selected based on the following exams

(1) written test

(2) medical exam.

Examination Fee: The Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- for AFCAT entry examination. No fee necessary for Meteorology entry and NCC Special entry candidates.
