The Indian Navy Recruitment 2018 is back with new vacancy notice. Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried eligible and interested male and female candidates for grant of Short Service commission(SSC) in Education Branch and from unmarried male applicants for grant of Permanent Commission in Executive Branch or the Logistics Cadre. It is for the January 2019 Course. The course will be conducted at the Indian Naval Academy(INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. It is a good opportunity for those who want to make a career in Defence.

(1)For the Education branch the candidate should have born on or between the dates of January 2, 1994 to January 1, 1998. This is of Short Service Commission and is open for both male and female candidates.

(2) For the Logistics branch the candidate should have born on or between the dates of January 2, 1994 to July 1, 1999. This is of Permanent Commission and only male candidate can apply for this branch.

Selection Procedure of the Indian Navy Recruitment: 

(a) There will be interview for the recruitment  Service Selection Board interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam during May 18 to Jul 18. A choice of dates for appearing in SSB will be indicated in the application dashboard for shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).

(b) The total duration of SSB interviews is five days consisting of two Stages- Stage I (Day one) and Stage II (Four days). Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx duration 03-05 days).

(c) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training as per All India Merit of SSB marks depending on the number of vacancies.

(d) Candidates are to download the call up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ-MoD(Navy) on SMS/e-mail(provided by candidate in their application).

Candidates will have to apply for the posts via online mode only thorough the official website of the Indian Navy. Follow the following instructions.

(1) Fill up the online form correctly. All the details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate.
